Therapist position is available in Ypsilanti, MI, offering an
opportunity to support students in their physical development and
functional independence within an educational setting. This
contract role is ideal for a dedicated PT who is passionate about
working with children to enhance their mobility and participation
in school activities. Key Responsibilities: Evaluate and develop
individualized treatment plans for students with physical
disabilities or motor delays. Collaborate with teachers, parents,
and other school staff to implement therapeutic interventions and
accommodations. Monitor student progress and adjust therapy goals
accordingly. Maintain accurate documentation of all therapy
sessions and student progress. Provide education and training to
school personnel and families regarding physical therapy practices
and student needs. Qualifications: Licensed Physical Therapist with
experience or interest in school-based therapy services. Knowledge
of pediatric physical therapy principles and techniques. Strong
communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with
educators, families, and students. Ability to create engaging,
child-friendly therapy plans that promote functional independence.
Commitment to professional development and adherence to school
district and state therapy regulations. Location: Ypsilanti, MI
