Duties and Responsibilities: The essential duties and
responsibilities of this job are included but not limited to this
job description – other tasks may be assigned and expected to be
performed. - Acts as representative for quality issues, initiatives
and actions for the division - Manages and maintains divisional
activities for ISO 9001; ISO 14001; and other quality systems -
Maintains effective divisional corrective action programs - Manages
supplier and internal quality audits to ensure divisional quality
standards - Ensures compliance with Radiation Safety Program. -
Manages the development, implementation and maintenance of quality
procedures and documentation - Manages resolution of product
quality issues through interaction with suppliers, sales,
engineering, manufacturing and customers - Responsible for all
functions and activities of the QA/QC department - Other
tasks/projects/functions as assigned. Requirements: - Associate's
Degree required in related field of study. Bachelor Degree
preferred. - Equivalent combination of training and 5 years of
QA/QC manager/supervisory experience - QA/QC Certification from ASQ
preferred - Six Sigma training preferred - Exhibits required
in-depth quality knowledge and skills - Understands, responds to
and supports good customer/supplier relationships - Strong in-depth
knowledge of problem solving and course of action techniques -
Ability to understand and support complex customer needs and
requests - Ability to prioritize, coordinate, and think
creatively/critically in high stress situations - Ability to lead,
work in, and foster team related activities - Ability to influence
others outside the work group - Exhibits a sense of urgency
regarding work assignments - Proficiency in computer software
including Word, Excel, Power Point, and Quality software systems -
Minimal travel required, including one international trip per year.
