Demonstrates automobiles by explaining characteristics, capabilities, and features; taking drives. Closes sales by overcoming objections; asking for sales; negotiating price; completing sales or purchase contracts; explaining explaining and offering warranties, services, and financing; delivers automobile. Understands automobiles by studying characteristics, capabilities, and features. Develops buyers by maintaining rapport with previous customers. In-depth knowledge of the dealership’s vehicles, finance options and sales process Intuition to anticipate which cars will appeal to different customers Active listening to best determine a customer’s wants and needs Persuasiveness to convince customers to make a purchase Confidence to create a positive impression on customers Negotiation skills to offer deals that satisfy customers while ensuring profit for the dealership A welcoming and friendly demeanor Qualifications Available to work flexible hours and weekends Self-starter mentality and ambitious spirit preferred Ready to waste no time on learning new product in’s and out’s, eager to improve Phenomenal communication skills with customers and team members Professional, well-groomed personal appearance Clean driving record and valid driver’s license Must have good listening skills, verbal communication and telephone skills.
