Genesis10 is seeking an IT Data Analyst for a leading company in Strongsville, OH. This is a remote direct hire position.

Description:

An IT Data Analyst is responsible for working as part of a team to create, enhance and maintain custom reports that are relied upon to run the business effectively and efficiently. An IT Data Analyst is also heavily involved in the ETL process by helping to identify source systems for required data and assisting in the building of data cleansing procedures.

Job Duties:

Develop custom reports to address business needs

Conduct exploratory meetings with business partners to generate ideas on how data and reporting can be used

Drive operational efficiencies, as well as new business opportunities

Participate in all aspects of Scrum, including but not limited to daily stand-ups, estimation meetings, demos, and retrospectives

Work with vendors and the internal software development team to retrieve and manage required data

Design tables in the data warehouse in such a way that enables drilldown reporting

Create and update stored procedures that are part of the ETL process

Assist in the automation of manual data analytic efforts

Requirements:

Degree in Data Analytics or equivalent experience

2+ years creating reports in a BI tool

At least 1 year of professional experience writing queries in SQL/T-SQL

At least 1 year of professional experience working in a relational database

PowerBI experience a plus
