General InformationSchaeffler, a dynamic global automotive and industrial supplier, is seeking a Material Planner Supply Chain (also called: Specialist - Materials Management) to support our Automotive Aftermarket Division in Strongsville, Ohio. -This role plans, schedules, and purchases material requirements related the assigned product and suppliers.
Your Key Responsibilities

• 
  
• 
  Place purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of required products
  
  
• 
  Monitor and manage overstocked products
  
  
• 
  Monitor and manage supplier past due deliveries and supplier delivery performance
  
  
• 
  SAP Master data records maintenance
  
  
• 
  Manage product supersession and phase out
  
  
• 
  Monitor and manage inventory levels for assigned products
  
  
• 
  Resolve Accounts Payable (invoice value, receipt qty) discrepancies / issues as necessary
  
  
  Your Qualifications
  • 
    
  • 
    5 years related experience and/or;
    
    
  • 
    CPPM, CPP, CPM, CPIM, CPSM, APICS certification and/or four-year college degree
    
    
  • 
    Strong verbal and written communication skills
    
    
  • 
    Strong MS Office proficiency, particularly Excel
    
    
  • 
    SAP knowledge preferred but not required
    
    
  • 
    Ability to interface effectively with other departments in a professional manner
    
    
  • 
    Ability to multi-task with accuracy and effectiveness
    
    
  • 
    Knowledge of Automotive Aftermarket and Supply Base preferred but not required
