Requisition ID : JOBREQ1800085126 Primary Location United States of America-Ohio-Strongsville-USA - Strongsville Plant Organization Ctgs Science/Technology Schedule Full-time Job Posting Jan 13, 2023, 3:11:07 PM As a Senior Product Development Chemist , you will be responsible for the development of new global coating products/platforms for Industrial or Automotive Powder Market segments. You will work on coating formulation design and development, as well as application and testing of these coatings against a wide range of specifications and customer requirements from different global regions! Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical projects to develop and implement powder coating product formulations. Conceptualize, plan, and implement projects.
• Design and conduct experiments and analyze and interpret experimental results efficiently.
• Work closely with customers to understand their needs and how to incorporate these needs into new product platforms.
• Drive technology transfer to accelerate localization and customization in all regions.
• Drive technical work and breakthroughs to deliver results against bold timelines. Coordinate project related activities including resin synthesis, manufacturing trials, product stewardship & regulatory evaluation and application.
• Assist in launch activities and document technical results in electronic laboratory notebook, reports, and presentations.
• Work safely, following all lab procedures and maintain high safety standards. Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in a technical field such as Chemistry, Polymer Science, Materials Science or Chemical Engineering with at least 3 years of product development experience in an industrial setting
  • Experience in coating formulations is required. Experience is powder formulations is preferred!
  • Collaboration skills are required and a strong desire to work in a team oriented, dynamic global environment.
