Job Description:

Your Chance Responsible for processing all graphite components through Resin Impregnation cycle and maintaining documentation of all parts through the impregnation step. This would include set up of each impregnation run to ensure proper penetration of resin, measuring the "pick-up" of resin in each part, and understanding the process within a reasonable period of time. This position also requires the assembly of components that make up the product line of SGL CARBON TECHNIC. Product line includes items such as heat exchanger and parts (tube sheets, headers, baffles), systems and parts (trays, cylinders). Strong blue-print reading skills are required, as well as experience in working with basic tooling (ie. torque wrenches) and measuring equipment (ie micrometers, gauges). Good communication skills with the other assemblers, machinists, and engineering group are also required. #CB1 Key Accountabilities --- Complete standard shop mathematics - --- Read and understand blue prints - --- Read and understand required measuring equipment such as micrometers, gauges, torque wrenches - --- Work with the engineering organization: following -working detail drawings as designed --- Maintain -tools and equipment - Your Profile --- High School diploma - --- Strong mechanical aptitude - --- Ability to work with little supervision as well as in a team - --- 3 years of experience in a fabrication facility preferred. - --- Preferred experience with pressurized equipment and welded vessels. - --- Ability to work with shop, management, and technical personnel. - --- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate with others regarding technical needs and issues. - --- Safety conscious with safety training background. - --- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software and pc file management.
