Job Description:

Position Summary: The Procurement Administrator is the front-line resource for Strategic and Operational planning, scheduling and procurement of external goods and services of inventoried and non-inventoried business needs. Responsible for working with Procurement and Operations teams for fulfilling the external inventoried buying process from MRP purchase and operation readiness demand within SAP purchase order process. Navigates and responds to any and all challenges for raw materials, maintenance repair and operations, inventoried procurement, and non-inventoried goods while supporting the business, identifying risks and responds accordingly to optimize inventory analysis, scheduling, to meet or exceed business expectations.Responsibilities:

  • Works within the policy and release strategy of the purchase requisition requirements by maintaining the integrity and control of processes for external goods and services.
    • Process the purchase order within the established parameters for the total value of the purchase and working closely with Approvers from the Release Strategy in SAP workflow.
      • Provide support and information to Quality Inspection Team to ensure the quality documentation is appropriately recorded for inventory received products. Includes providing purchase information to Logistics team or Return Material Investigator (Coordinator of the return) to ensure non-conformance returns are processed against the required purchase data necessary.
        • Understand SAP Material Resource Planning including the master data for material requirements (for example, MRP views, Purchasing and Shipping data in the material master).
          • *Works with the Requisitioner for MRP exceptions and elements in processing of the direct and indirect purchase requisitions and responds accordingly to maintaining the production scheduling.
            • Work with Commodity Managers and Global Supply Chain Leaders to Production Leads to ensure the manufacturing, quantities, safety, and reorder points are established with production capacity planning that meets the needs of the production volume.
              • Review of stocking costs, usage, and demand of slow moving or obsolete inventory
                • Review the accuracy and successful input of Requisition entry to SAP to Purchase Order.
                  • Creation and maintenance of purchasing Information records, preferred vendor contract, RFQ and other cost savings opportunities from MRP.
                    • Respond to the Vendor Acknowledgement and route communications appropriately for deviations from the Purchase Order price and availability.
                      • Ensure the appropriate Purchase Order Confirmation information in the External Purchase Inbound Delivery schedule is accurate and maintained.
                        • Work with the Master Data Teams in the coordination of new vendors or change in information of existing vendors
                          • Enter and monitor longer-term purchase agreements (including analyses of the degree of fulfillment of outline agreements).
                            • Work with the RFQ, Commodity Manager, Logistics, and Finance Team to validate the established INCO terms, freight and duties and relevant tax information needed.Minimum Qualifications:
                              • 1-5 years' SAP experience in MRP and/or manufacturing procurement functions.
                                • Ability to coordinate smoothly with multiple functional groups inside and outside the business
                                  • Proficient in Microsoft OfficePreferred Qualifications:
                                    • 4-year degree in a Supply Chain or Procurement-related field
                                      • SAP knowledge (Supply Chain or Procurement functions)Travel: n/aSchedule: Monday - Friday.
