Kelly Services is currently seeking to an experienced, high volume, Accounts Payable Clerk--for our government client--in Indianapolis, IN! The position is projected to be a 4-month--contract. The role will include--training and it will work on-site in the downtown Indianapolis area (it is NOT a remote position). Projected start is December 14th. Interviews will begin as soon as an identified candidate is presented. There will be an initial phone screen and then an in-person interview with the client. Pay: $14.00/hour Schedule- first shift, full time hours- Monday-Friday; 8am-4:30pm (must be punctual and reliable- attendance is crucial) Essential Duties/Responsibilities:* Duties and responsibilities include:* Approves Goverment payments* Answer incoming calls, greeting callers, providing information, transferring calls and/or taking messages as necessary* Mail processing* Research payment inquiries* File division paperwork* Track and process returned payments* Perform related duties as assigned.Job Requirements:* High School is required* Able to speak to previous Accounting Software systems, error rate, volume, and number of vendors worked with* Ability to maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, others in the division, agency.* High level of attention to detail.* Able to type at least 45--wpm (net speed)* Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook (email and calendar), operate a multi-phone system* Ability to find, gather and collect information or data and evaluate information against a set of standards.* Ability to communicate information and ideas clearly and concisely.
