Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Threader Operator to join our team in the Willoughby area. In this role, you will operate CNC equipment to thread ceramic cores and inspect products for quality and defects, following standard operating procedures. Hours : 1st Shift Hourly pay - Starting at $15.00 Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Operate CNC equipment following documented job-specific work instructions Learn to operate related machinery, including extruders, grinders, threaders, and saws, safely Visually inspect parts for defects during production Accurately complete process documentation and daily production paperwork Meet or exceed production and quality targets for ceramic rods and cores Communicate any equipment, process, or quality concerns to the Lead Person, Supervisor, or Engineering team Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment Participate in end-of-shift duties including production reporting, TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), and 6S activities Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures Communicate effectively with supervisors, leads, and team members Education, Experience, and Skills: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required Mechanical aptitude and strong communication skills Previous manufacturing experience preferred but not required Willingness to cross-train in various production roles Excellent attendance and reliability Ability to perform machine setups as needed Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for a full 8-hour shift (plus overtime as needed) Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
