We are currently in search of a Paralegal.Our client is seeking an experienced Paralegal for a Full-time hybrid position, located in Livonia, MI. This position is Monday - Friday with Tuesday/Thursday being in office.Required Experience:

• 5-10 Years preferably as a Nurse Paralegal or with experience in defense work, litigation or handling medical defense cases.Essential Responsibilities:
  • Organize and manage files for compliance and Legal departments.
  • Maintain a calendar of all cases and keep track of any litigation deadlines.
  • Conduct legal research related to litigation and compliance with current healthcare regulations.
  • File documents in appropriate venues (state, federal courts, administrative agencies, etc).
  • Assist with mediation and litigation regarding upcoming court cases.
  • Preparing exhibits and indexes while following courtroom procedures.
  • Assist with regular filings such as license renewals and government reports.
  • Communicate effectively with company personnel as well as third parties.
  • Must be able to work independently and meet all litigation deadlines.
