Job Description:
Securitas Security Services USA, Inc., a leader in the security
industry, is seeking a dedicated Alarm Technician to join our team.
This position is instrumental in installing, maintaining, and
repairing alarm systems designed to protect homes, businesses, and
communities. The ideal candidate will have a robust technical
background, an understanding of the latest security technology, and
a commitment to providing exceptional service to ensure the safety
and security of our clients. Install, maintain, and repair various
types of alarm systems, including intrusion detectors, CCTV, and
access control systems. Conduct regular testing and maintenance to
ensure systems are fully functional and meet safety standards.
Troubleshoot system malfunctions and perform necessary repairs or
adjustments. Educate clients on system operations and safety
features. Coordinate with the technical team to ensure that the
latest security technology is implemented effectively. Maintain
accurate records of all installations, inspections, maintenance,
repair work, and inventory. Proven technical skills with various
alarm systems Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving
capabilities Ability to read and interpret technical documents and
manuals Excellent communication and customer service skills
Detail-oriented with strong observational abilities Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k
Certified Alarm Technician (CAT) level I or II Familiarity with
NFPA standards
