Sr. within PNC's organization, you will be based remotely. This is
a remote position and can sit anywhere within the PNC footprint,
except for Colorado, Hawaii, Alaska. In person activities may occur
periodically based on business need.
Job Overview:
--- Reviewing and analyzing system specifications
--- Executing test scripts and reviewing results
--- Report bugs and errors to development teams
--- Oversee and coordinate test plan preparation and maintenance
with development team.
--- Writing, and executing tests automated tests, monitoring
testing progress, reporting status logging defects, tracking defect
fixes and new features
--- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout
the software development lifecycle
Day to day tasks:
1. Testing new software features and regression testing existing
functionality
2. Translate functional specifications into testing plans that
capture detailed actions.
3. Use test driven development and scaled agile methods to deliver
products to client requirements.
4. Execute test cases/scripts to ensure delivery of quality
software applications, including Systems Integration, Regression,
and Performance Testing
5. Familiarity with development practices like Unit Testing,
Test-Driven Development
6. Apply Quality Engineering principles throughout the agile life
cycle to identify defect and design flaws
Core competencies:
--- Experience working with different Test Automation
Frameworks
--- Experience in API automation
--- Good experience & knowledge in web application automation &
related tools/packages.
--- Experience automating test cases for both native iOS and
Android applications using Appium
--- Expertise in Selenium and Java programming.
--- Work on Test Automation framework in BDD style with Mobile,
API, DB Test Automation
--- Experience in Selenium tools (Selenium IDE, Selenium Locators,
Selenium RC, Selenium WebDriver, Selenium Java Framework, Selenium
Grid, and Docker Framework, Karate Framework API/UI)
--- Scripting experience in Java Script and Java J2EE.
--- Work on Test Automation framework in BDD style with Mobile,
API, DB Test Automation
--- Good knowledge of Java/.Net/VBScript languages is a must
--- Integration of automation scripts for continuous integration
build with ANTMaven, Jenkins etc and setting up automation scripts
for unattended execution
--- Experience in setting standards and review of automation
artifacts
--- Hands-on experience with different tools - Testing tool,
Version Control systems (Git), Test Management Software, Bug
Tracking software and CI tools.
--- Understand application testing requirements and test
strategy
--- Development of automation scripts as per approved automation
test strategy and framework
--- Ensure complete customer focus in deliveries including managing
requirements, reviews, obtaining acceptance plans and feedbacks
--- Mentoring other team members on development and implementation
of mobile automation framework and automation scripts
--- Quest to learn new automation tools and scripting languages
--- Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation
--- Exposure to Code quality process and tools
--- Good exposure to different testing methodologies & QA
