Swim into a life-saving and life-changing opportunity today Role: Front Desk/Customer Service Representative Summary: Promotes quality customer service, process sales and registration transactions. Acts as the first point of contact for potential and current Goldfish customers and as such is responsible for presenting a positive image for the company. Primary Responsibilities: Answers telephones, responds to inquiries, takes messages, screens and directs phone calls in a professional manner. Processes student registrations using effective sales/customer service techniques. Resolves customer concerns/complaints using a professional approach. Assists members with purchases of merchandise and vending. Greets parents and students as they report to the front desk. Maintains cleanliness of the front desk, Snack Shack, changing areas, restrooms, and observation area. Provides occasional administrative support for management personnel, including the General Manager and Assistant General Manager. Makes collection calls to resolve open account problems. Enforces safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents. Administers first aid when necessary. Provides swim instruction based on the Goldfish Swim School curriculum Fulfills other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Employer. Job Qualifications and Skills 16 years of age Ability to work with children Problem solver and creative thinking skills to identify and resolve challenges that are encountered Excellent communication and organizational skills Must pass background examinations prior to training Computer knowledge Must be willing to go through swim instructor training which is provided in house Certifications: Willing to obtain and maintain a current Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid certification within 90 days of hire- We provide these certification classes in our facility.
