Nurse is sought to provide high-quality care within a progressive
stepdown unit specializing in cardiac, surgical, and respiratory
illnesses. This travel position demands a compassionate, skilled RN
ready to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced environment
caring for adults and geriatric populations. Location: Based in
Niles, OH, this opportunity is located in a region rich in

Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough initial and ongoing patient
assessments and develop individualized plans of care. - Administer
medications safely and perform IV push medications as authorized. -
Manage care for patients with dysrhythmias, cardiac issues, post-op
drains, wound vacs, and related conditions. - Provide patient
teaching and coordinate multidisciplinary care efforts. - Function
as charge nurse when scheduled, delegating staff assignments and
ensuring smooth unit operations. - Maintain strict adherence to
patient safety standards and quality improvement initiatives. -
Respond effectively to changing patient conditions and emergencies.
Qualifications / Desired Experience: - Current RN license with
compact state coverage. - Minimum 1 year RN experience; at least 6
months in acute care preferred. - Dysrhythmia exam required (study
guide available). - BLS, ACLS, and NIH stroke certification
required. - Experience with cardiac telemetry, medication titration
(Cardizem, heparin), and managing Amiodarone drips. - EPIC EHR
training and critical care knowledge preferred. Schedule: - 12-hour
night shifts. - 13-week travel assignment. Physical & Work
Environment: - Ability to manage physically demanding tasks
including lifting and assisting patients. - Exposure to high
stress, infectious materials, and emergency situations. This
