Job Description:
We’re seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a permanent
role with a hospital in Marietta, OH where you will be responsible
for accurately interpreting a physician’s scanning instructions,
skillfully administering contrast materials when indicated, and
expertly operating CT scan equipment. Minimum Requirements: 1 year
experience preferred as a CT Technologist. Completion of a Joint
Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT)
accredited program in Radiology. Current American Registry of
Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in CT or registration
in Radiography with CT credentialing as required by employer. BLS
certification. Experience operating CT scanners and transmitting
images to PACS. Experience scheduling patients and coordinating
with outpatient scheduling personnel. Experience participating in
departmental on-call rotations. Familiarity with RT and RQI
compliance requirements and departmental quality processes.
Proficiency with computers and electronic imaging systems. Strong
interpersonal and communication skills. Benefits: Opportunity to

Responsibilities: Operate the CT scanner to obtain diagnostic scans
within the scope of practice defined by ARRT and ASRT and in
compliance with Ohio Department of Health rules and regulations.
Review examinations for technical accuracy and quality before
finalizing imaging studies. Transmit images to PACS and scan
required documentation into electronic records. Participate in CT
call rotation. Check supply expiration dates and dispose of expired
items. Attend at least 75% of department meetings. Schedule
patients in coordination with the Outpatient Scheduling Department.
Maintain compliance with RQI and other required training. Assume
additional duties and responsibilities as necessary to support the
department. Schedule: Shift varies. 7 on / 7 off rotation. Typical
patterns include M–F nights 9pm–7am, and weekend shifts 7pm–7am.
