Occupational Therapist Location: Mount Vernon, OH Agency: 22nd Century Healthcare, Inc. Pay: $35 to $40 per hour Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 20 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Occupational Therapist – Region 5 Location: Mt. Vernon, OH 43050 Shift: Flexible / Part-time Duration: Ongoing Schedule & Hours Typical hours: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM, one day per week (flexible) Potential to increase to up to 20 hours per week Ongoing assignment Job Description The Occupational Therapist will: Assess clients’ physical, developmental, and psychosocial functions (e.g., motor, cognitive, perceptual, behavioral, physical capacities) using standardized and non-standardized tools. Plan, coordinate, and implement individual or group occupational therapy treatment plans. Determine appropriate therapy techniques, sequence, and coordinate treatment plans with other programs for overall client benefit. Provide consultation with clients, healthcare professionals, and external parties regarding progress, treatment recommendations, and integration with other programs. Participate as a member of the interdisciplinary team. Assess and locate suitable adaptive equipment for clients. Document evaluations, observations, assessments, treatment plans, and revisions. Requisition necessary supplies and equipment, maintain records, and stay current on occupational therapy best practices through reading, in-service training, and mandated education. Attend staff meetings as required. Requirements Qualifications Current Ohio Occupational Therapy License Healthcare-professional level CPR certification Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
