An opportunity is available for a skilled Registered Nurse with Med/Surg Telemetry experience to provide high-quality patient care on the night shift. This contract position requires proficiency in managing complex patient cases in a fast-paced hospital environment. Schedule/Hours: Night shift 3 shifts per week 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM 7:30 AM) Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult patients on med/surg telemetry units Monitor vital signs and telemetry readings, promptly recognizing and responding to changes in patient status Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans Document nursing interventions and patient progress accurately and timely Ensure adherence to hospital policies and safety standards Qualifications and Desired Experience: Minimum 18 months of recent permanent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry nursing prior to travel assignment Must hold either a current Ohio nursing license or a license from a compact state BLS and ACLS certifications required Experience with documentation systems similar to Qualivis or Lotus is preferred This contract position offers the chance to work in a respected healthcare setting while gaining valuable experience.
