support and encouragement. Medina Hospital’s 2 North Progressive
Care Unit (PCU) specializes in the care of cardiac and neurological
patients who require close monitoring and advanced nursing
interventions. Our dedicated team provides expert care for patients
with complex medical conditions, including those recovering from
cardiac events, stroke and other neurological disorders. As an RN,
you will assist fellow caregivers in delivering exceptional care,
from initial introduction to final send-off. In this role, you will
interact directly with patients, families and visitors, offering
the opportunity to enhance their experience and supply healthcare
education as needed. Additionally, the Cleveland Clinic system

including furthering education and online/in-person courses to

Our Center for Workplace Violence Prevention and Caregiver
Well-Being sets caregiver safety as a priority, identifying,
reporting and responding to incidents and providing safety
resources. This is a regular PRN position, with caregivers working
day/evening/night/weekend shifts between 7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. or
7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m with weekend and holiday requirements. A
caregiver who excels in this role will: Provide direct nursing
care. Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and
communicate patients’ conditions. Note and carry out physician and
nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
Maintain professional growth and development through ongoing formal
and informal education and clinical nursing study. Minimum
qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: Graduate
from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (ADN or BSN
program) Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) Basic
Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart
Association (AHA) or American Red Cross External applicants: must
have two years of recent related nursing experience. Internal
applicants: with less than two years of experience but post
orientation/90-day probationary period could be considered with
Chief Nursing Officer level review and approval Will consider
licensed military RN experience Preferred qualifications for the
ideal future caregiver include: Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing
(BSN) Physical Requirements: Requires full range of body motion
including handling and lifting patient, manual and finger
dexterity, and eye-hand coordination. Requires standing and walking
for extended periods of time. Requires corrected vision and hearing
to normal range. Requires working under stressful conditions and
irregular hours. Exposure to communicable diseases and/or body
fluids. Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force
occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or
greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move
objects. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for
Light Work. Personal Protective Equipment: Follows standard
precautions using personal protective equipment as required. Pay
Range Minimum hourly: $41.00 Maximum hourly: $41.00 The pay range
displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for
new hires. A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be
determined after taking factors into consideration such as the
candidate’s work history, experience, skill set and education. The
pay range displayed does not include any applicable pay practices
(e.g., shift differentials, overtime, etc.). The pay range does not
