Techlink Systems Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for
a travel nursing job in Detroit, Michigan. Job Description &

36 Experience Preferred or Required: Minimum 6 months of experience
with ventilator management required. 1 year preferred. Previous
Stepdown experience strongly encouraged Certification/Licensure
Required: ACLS – Required NIHSS – Required Additional
Skills/Information: The ideal candidate will have experience
managing ventilators, sedation drips such as Precedex, and cardiac
drips including Cardizem and Cardene. The unit operates with a 3:1
nurse-to-patient ratio and consists of 12 beds. It primarily
handles a heavier medical caseload rather than surgical cases, with
a dedicated pulmonary team assigned to patients. Job Summary:
Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality
compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of
assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide,
delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and
family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family
information to health care team. Participates in finding solutions
for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of
solutions. Skills: Required Skills & Experience: Clinical knowledge
and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing
care plans within the unit/department to which staff is assigned.
Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and
hospital personnel. Preferred Skills & Experience: -N/A Education:
Required Education: -Graduation from an accredited school of
nursing. Preferred Education: -Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN).
Required Certification & Licensure: Current licensure by the
