Job Description:
A surgery center in Salem, Virginia is seeking a CRNA for locum
tenens coverage starting August 1 and ongoing. The position offers
4-5 days per week, Monday through Friday, with shifts beginning at
7:30 AM (or earlier for pediatrics), guaranteeing at least 8 hours
daily and full-time hours of 40+ per week. No call, weekends, or
holiday work is required. Cases include endo, eyes, ortho,
plastics, GI, ENT, and pediatrics, with a focus on ENT and eye
procedures. The team comprises 4 CRNAs and 1 doctor, with
physicians proficient in regional anesthesia. Shift type is day
shift, with supervision/medical direction required, and no
prescriptive authority needed. Board certification is mandatory,
and the assignment involves a variable caseload with no hands-on
responsibility.
