Job Description:
The Deputy CME OTA role is responsible for leading the
conception, design, development, and delivery of every OTA
component (Server/Client) on a specific EE architecture. The
overall role will be to coordinate OTA teams to generate
requirements, oversee OTA infrastructure/architecture, align
development efforts, and ensure validation teams through their
program related activities to ensure all OTA specific components
launch successfully on their targeted programs. In this role you
have the opportunity to pave your own career path as you present
your progress to senior leadership and solidify your program
management skills. Job Responsibilities include: Coordinate the
end-to-end technical component solution of both onboard and
offboard OTA through support of OTA Technical Project Managers
(TPMs). Manage the technical composition and
configuration/complexity of OTA inside a specific electrical
architecture/vehicle portfolio. Align ECU owners within the
Hardware and Propulsion realm to implement OTA features to support
vehicle program direction and needs. Support Controls/SW managers
with OTA requirements and direction to ensure criteria are well
understood for implementation. Align/Lead varying groups on
cross-functional OTA solutions to ensure program needs are
addressed. Proactively address open points / issues and bring them
to resolution to ensure successful project outcome. Present status
updates at Vice President level and above to ensure
names/dates/deliverables can be tracked and support awareness to
the global program team. Ensure validated component testing meets
all performance objectives including successful download, rollback,
and recovery of module during OTA operations. Support innovation
and robustness workshops to further stabilize the OTA eco-system
