Primary Duties Design & Planning: Develop mechanical system designs and installation drawings for air, water, hydraulic systems, and equipment rigging. Select appropriate components and equipment. Installation & Implementation: Oversee mechanical system installations, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety regulations. Testing & Commissioning: Conduct tests to verify functionality and safety of mechanical systems; ensure proper commissioning. Project Management: Coordinate with engineers, technicians, and stakeholders to ensure timely and budget-conscious project completion. Compliance: Ensure all installations meet relevant codes, standards, and regulations. What you'll need to be successful: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred. Experience in construction or manufacturing environments. Relevant certifications and familiarity with industry standards. Skills & Competencies Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and induction equipment operation. Design & Analysis: Proficiency in mechanical design software and system calculations. Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues effectively. Communication & Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in team environments.
