Job Description Job Description CNC Field Service Technician | $30-40 | Monday – Friday 1st shift hours What Matters Most Competitive Pay of $30-40 per hour Schedule: Monday - Friday 1st shift hours that vary Location: Lorain, OH Direct hire opportunity with career growth and stability Job Description The CNC field service technician installs, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machinery at customer locations. This role requires strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to interpret technical documentation. They are also responsible for preventative maintenance, customer training, and providing technical support. Responsibilities: Perform installation, repair, and maintenance of CNC machinery, accessories, and automation equipment Repair of products throughout a region and at times nationally or across the border Assembly / modification of standard products on-site Assist in maintaining and monitoring stock of repair/installation of parts Related duties as required Qualifications and Requirements: Working knowledge of Fanuc and Mitsubishi controls a must Working knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and mechanical systems on CNC machinery A good understanding of PMC and PLC ladder logic Must be willing to accommodate extensive travel Ability to work amongst a team environment Strong communication skills & ability to work with minimal supervision High School Diploma or GED 3 years of related experience preferred Valid Driver’s license Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen & background check Benefits and Perks: $30-40 an hour Medical, Dental & Vision 401K Referral bonuses Your New Organization: For more than three decades, this established organization has been a leading provider of tailored CNC machining and automation solutions. The base pay range for this position is $30-40 an hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity.
