We are currently seeking a seasoned Principal Development Engineer to join our dynamic team within the Engineering & Design department. The ideal candidate will drive the development of cutting-edge energy projects, integrating renewable technologies and optimizing our energy management offerings. This role requires a strategic thinker with a robust understanding of energy systems engineering and a passion for sustainability. Lead engineering projects from conception through implementation, including designing systems, modeling, and simulations. Research and develop new technologies and approaches for energy generation, storage, and distribution. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainable practices and technologies into traditional energy systems. Prepare and review technical documents, including project proposals, test reports, and compliance documents. Mentor junior engineers and support their technical development. Ensure adherence to project budgets, schedules, and performance requirements. Stay updated with industry trends and regulatory issues affecting the energy sector. Proven expertise in renewable energy systems, energy management, and project management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with industry-standard software and modeling tools. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k PE (Professional Engineer) license preferred. Certification in Project Management (PMP) advantageous.
