minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

open for a contract duration from February 23, 2026, to May 20,
2026, in Jefferson, GA. This role involves supporting a
self-contained adaptive classroom within an elementary school
setting, focusing on students with diverse behavioral challenges.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualized instruction and
support in a self-contained adaptive classroom. Manage and address
challenging behaviors with appropriate strategies. Participate in
restraint training and apply safe restraint techniques when
necessary. Collaborate with staff and families to support student
development. Maintain accurate records of student progress and
behavior. Qualifications and Experience: Active Georgia
Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) teaching license.
Experience working in behaviorally challenging special education
settings. Strong classroom management skills. Ability to respond
effectively to crisis situations, including the implementation of
restraint procedures. Commitment to creating an inclusive and
supportive learning environment. Position Details: Location:
Jefferson, GA (onsite only). Schedule: 37.5 hours per week.
