Job Description Job Description Residential HVAC Field Operations Supervisor At Anderson Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical, your day starts where it matters most—out in the field. You’ll kick off with a quick sync on the day’s schedule, review active jobs, and then head out to ride along with technicians. One stop might be a tricky no-cool call where you provide real-time diagnostics; the next, a jobsite walk to confirm a clean, code-compliant install. Throughout the day, you’ll partner with dispatch, resolve escalations, coach on communication and professionalism, and ensure every homeowner gets a consistent, high-quality experience. How You’ll Lead Coach and support residential service and installation technicians through ride-alongs, jobsite visits, and quality checks. Provide on-the-spot troubleshooting and guidance to keep jobs safe, efficient, and on standard. Model clear customer communication and reinforce brand expectations. Operations Partnership Work closely with dispatch to optimize daily scheduling and job flow. Triage same-day issues, callbacks, reschedules, and field escalations. Spot execution gaps and share actionable feedback with management. Training, Safety, and Compliance Onboard and field-train new technicians; reinforce documentation and code requirements. Support ongoing technical training and certification readiness. Champion safety standards, including PPE, vehicle expectations, and a culture of accountability. Ensure all work aligns with local codes and company policies. Customer Experience Resolve workmanship concerns and ensure a consistent, high-caliber service experience. Serve as a visible role model for service excellence and professionalism. What You Bring 5 years of residential HVAC experience (service and/or install) with strong diagnostics. Experience leading others—Lead Tech, Trainer, or Mentor background preferred. Outstanding communication and coaching skills. EPA Certification; ServiceTitan experience is a plus. Valid driver’s license with a strong driving record; able to obtain a chauffeur’s license if needed. Thrives in a fast-paced environment while supporting multiple technicians.
