Job Description Job Description Schedule Monday – Thursday 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM Overtime frequently required Pay Rate $24–$28 per hour , based on experience Maintenance Technician I & II levels considered 10% shift differential for night shift Job Summary The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing equipment repairs, preventive maintenance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment. This role works closely with production, engineering, and operations teams to ensure equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and maintain safe, efficient operations. Key Responsibilities Perform timely equipment changeovers in accordance with production schedules Complete preventive maintenance on assigned machinery and equipment Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and plumbing systems Assist with equipment rebuilds, upgrades, and improvement projects Support production operators with equipment setup and troubleshooting Make repairs as directed by Engineering and Maintenance leadership Requisition parts, components, and supplies as needed Train plant personnel on equipment operation and maintenance processes Follow OSHA, SDS, and all company safety standards Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Associate’s degree or higher preferred Minimum of 2 years of experience maintaining packing or production machinery Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Experience with: Electrical systems Pneumatic systems Mechanical systems Plumbing and pipefitting Experience in a chemical or industrial manufacturing environment preferred Ability to provide own tools Effective verbal and written communication skills in English Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and overtime as required Physical Requirements Ability to work in a chemical manufacturing environment Lift up to 50 lbs Perform physically demanding tasks including bending, climbing, and reaching Stand for extended periods (up to 2 hours at a time) IND2
