Connecting. Growing together. The Associate Patient Care
Coordinator is responsible to the Center Administrator and provides
appointment scheduling, patient registration, cashiering, answers
incoming calls and performs other related clerical functions. This
primary role provides front office support functions. Schedule:
Monday 8AM-5PM, Tuesday 12PM-5PM, Wednesday 730AM-5PM, Thursday
8AM-1PM, Friday 8AM-1PM. It may be necessary, given the business
need, to work occasional overtime, as well as adjust schedule to
help cover a call off or scheduled PTO. End time will vary
depending on physician’s schedule, could leave earlier or stay
later. Location: 116 East Ave, Ste 3, Tallmadge, OH 44278 Primary
Responsibilities: - Taking messages for providers, handling forms:
FMLA/Disability/BMV - Collecting copays and patient balances that
are due at time of check in - Requesting records and retrieving
records from offices/hospitals - Prepping charts, scanning
documents - Verifies patient insurance coverage and eligibility
utilizing computer-based patient registration / scheduling system -
Documents appropriate information in patient’s charts using an
electronic medical records system - Completes and maintains
physician’s schedules, coordinating patient visits and medical
procedures - Ensures insurance authorizations are obtained, and
services are covered in full, communicating information with

Diploma/GED (or higher) - 1 years of experience working in a
healthcare environment - Must be 18 years of age or older Preferred
Qualifications: - Experience utilizing electronic medical records -
Medical secretary office experience - Advanced level of proficiency
with the use of PC, typing capabilities and various software
applications such as Microsoft Word and Outlook Soft Skills: -
Proven excellent customer service skills and ability to multi-task
necessary The salary range for this role is $16.00 to $28.85 per
hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors
including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work
