General Accountant About the Role and Our Client: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented General Accountant to join our client in Kent, OH. In this role, you will support the day-to-day general accounting functions, ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions. Key Responsibilities: Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR). Assist in the preparation of journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy. Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts. Assist with payroll processing and support payroll-related tasks. Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document management. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve accounting issues and ensure financial accuracy. Qualifications: Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or relevant experience. Previous experience in an accounting or administrative role is preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other accounting software (experience with QuickBooks is a plus). Location & Compensation: On-site position in Kent, OH.
