Key Responsibilities: Oversee the general accounting functions, including preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements. Lead the monthly close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. Manage and track budgets for various projects and operational costs. Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions. Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and all regulatory standards. Assist with audit preparation and coordination, working closely with external auditors. Develop and implement improved accounting processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth running of the accounting department. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting 3 years of experience in accounting, with at least 1 year in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, practices, and reporting requirements. Experience with budgeting, cost analysis, and financial forecasting a plus. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel (experience with ERP systems a plus). High level of integrity and attention to detail. Experience with audit preparation a plus. Location & Compensation: Location : On-site position near Bolivar, Ohio. Salary : $70,000 to $80,000 depending on experience.
